1. Parties and Scope
These Terms of Service govern all quotations, staffing agreements, and equipment hire arrangements entered into between BARPRO DA (Org.nr 937 367 031, Petterjordet 21B, 2608 Lillehammer, Norway), hereinafter referred to as the «Supplier», and the client, hereinafter referred to as the «Client».
2. Booking Confirmation & Binding Agreement
A legally binding agreement is formed once the Client accepts a written estimate (via email or signed confirmation) and the Supplier issues a final booking confirmation.
3. Pricing, VAT & Payment Schedules
- All quotations are denominated in Norwegian Kroner (NOK). Business quotations are stated net of VAT; consumer quotations include statutory Norwegian VAT (MVA).
- Standard invoices are issued following event completion with a 14-day payment term, unless otherwise stipulated.
- For large engagements exceeding NOK 25,000, the Supplier reserves the right to invoice a 25—50% advance reservation deposit to secure inventory and personnel.
4. Delivery, Setup & Venue Accessibility
- The Client is responsible for granting venue access at the agreed setup time (typically 2—3 hours before guest arrival).
- The Client must ensure operational access to standard electricity (10A/16A circuit) and clean potable water for hand hygiene.
- Physical access impediments (e.g., steep steps without elevator access or locked barrier gates) must be declared in advance.
5. Alcohol Legislation & Responsible Service
All beverage service is strictly executed under the Norwegian Alcohol Act and municipal licensing conditions:
- Bartenders hold the legal obligation to decline alcohol service to visibly intoxicated individuals or anyone unable to substantiate legal age (18 for wine/beer, 20 for spirits).
- The Client is responsible for securing any necessary municipal ambulatory license (ambulerende skjenkebevilling) where required by law.
6. Equipment Care & Breakage Allowances
The Client agrees to exercise reasonable care regarding hired bar counters and crystal glassware. Normal wear and a 3% glassware breakage allowance are included. Severe equipment damage or extensive glass loss caused by gross negligence will be invoiced at documented direct replacement cost.
7. Force Majeure & Jurisdiction
Neither party shall be liable for non-performance caused by unforeseeable events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, severe acts of state, or extreme road closures).
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved primarily through good-faith mediation, failing which the Lillehammer District Court (Lillehammer tingrett) shall hold exclusive jurisdiction.
